Refurbishment of the Bryson Generating Station

SHAWVILLE, December 11, 2017 – On Friday, December 8th, 2017 two Board members, Todd Hoffman and Brian Wallace of the Pontiac Chamber of Commerce participated in an information meeting at Hydro-Québec concerning the upcoming refurbishment of the Bryson generating station in Bryson.

As President of the Pontiac Chamber of Commerce, I wish to convey my thoughts to the business people, their clientele and all those that believe in the strength of an economic group. I was recently invited by a local organization to present the action plan of the Pontiac Chamber of Commerce. It is always with great pleasure that I accept this opportunity to advocate the Chamber, and to discuss the activities and actions to promote business development in the Pontiac.



What the proposed new income sprinkling rules mean for you and your business

Since Wednesday, accountants, lawyers, small business owners and incorporated professionals have been burning the midnight oil — and not in celebration of Hanukkah. Rather they are trying to comprehend the implications of the new income sprinkling rules released that day and whether any steps need to be taken before Dec. 31 to ensure that business owners are properly prepared for the new rules, set to be effective on Jan. 1, 2018.

A note from Branchons les PME

Free coaching to create an online store. Thanks to a grant that our non-profit organization (NPO) Connecting SMEs received, we can assist entrepreneurs throughout Quebec to create an online store for your business. The project is related to free training to create an online store for Small & Medium Entreprises (SMEs). Our grant will provide 9 hours of training for entrepreneurs trainees specifically for the platform. The subsidy is provided only until the end of August.
