Invitation to Businesses and Exhibitors

A day of networking between employers and job seekers is planned including business speakers. The perfect opportuity to assist you with filling positions within your business. In addition, in order to meet potential candidates, you can be an exhibitor. Kiosks prices start at $50 per space.

The Job Fair event is a key forum to promote your business – a major event which attracts hundreds of visitors each year. An ideal forum to recruit employees to your business and, due to the time of year which this event is held, to recruit students for summer employment.

We invite you to complete the registration form as soon as possible – the number of booths available is limited. If your business has any job opportunities you would like to advertise, please complete the job offer form.

Business Development Coordinator

Photo of GingerI am excited to introduce myself as the newly hired Business Coordinator for your local Chamber of Commerce. In order to help people get to know me better, I would like to give a brief bio of myself. I was born and raised in Clarendon, attended school in Shawville, and although I moved to Arnprior in 1999 for employment reasons, the Pontiac called me “home” in 2007.

Presently, I live in Clarendon, with my partner and 3 young girls. I have a genuine desire to see the Pontiac thrive and flourish. Nothing would make me happier than to have all 3 of my children raise their own families close by! Just recently I made the decision to start a riding stable on my own farm and started giving lessons to the public this past summer.

I was most recently employed as Director General at the Municipality of Thorne. My previous work experience was as a Chiropractic Assistant for approximately 9 years, when I wasn’t off on maternity leave!

I am eager to get started and look forward to meeting each member as well as making contact with local businesses who are not Chamber members….yet! I plan to stop in to your businesses and introduce myself personally.

I welcome you to contact me at with your ideas on what information you would like addressed at business breakfasts or networking meetings. I intend to not only have business breakfasts, but also rotate the time of these meetings to lunch and evening as well in order to accommodate those business owners who are unable to attend the early meetings.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone, and to learn what is needed.
